Ceramic Berl Saddle

Ceramic berl saddle is made from chemical-grade white porcelain and is known for its superior chemical resistance, with the exception of strong alkalis and hydrofluoric acid. Its surface can be glazed(smooth) or unglazed, depending on your requirement, and it's particularly well-suited for applications involving sulfuric acid. Additionally, its durable construction ensures longevity and reliability in even the most demanding environments.

Ceramic berl saddles are a type of tower packing that was developed early on. They feature a unique saddle shape with both internal and external surfaces open, which results in equal vapour-liquid distribution on both sides.

When compared to raschig rings, berl saddles exert less pressure on the column wall. Because of their unique shape, having both inside and outside surfaces with similar shapes allows them to be easily stacked on top of each other during column packing.
